Social marketing was defined as “the use of marketing techniques and principles to influence a specific public that voluntarily accepts, rejects, modifies or abandons behavior for the benefit of individuals, groups or society as a whole” (Kotler & Lee, 2005: 115). A recent definition focused in research defines QOL as the “… perception each person has of his/her own place in life, within a cultural context and the system of values he/she conforms to, as related to expectations, interests, and achievements” (Tonon, 2015, p. 5).

In a globalized world, social marketing has become essential to solve problems related to public health, global warming, education, social issues, traffic safety, etc. Our aim is to create a book where we can find high-quality cases on different social marketing campaigns that have been developed in anywhere in the world and have had an important impact on people’s quality of life. We are particularly interested on chapters that showcase programs designed using QOL philosophy, or measure their impact using QOL indicators. They should be innovative and highlight the application of QOL main theoretical principles. The chapters should be written for classroom use.

The material should be original, unpublished (only presentation in Conferences and in the proceedings would be accepted, although the chapter should be improved considerably).  Language: English (although previous versions can be also sent in Spanish, Italian or Portuguese). Remember: the cases should be written for classroom use.
