The Spanish Association of Academic and Professional Marketing (AEMARK) announces the Best Doctoral Thesis Award, which will be awarded during the 34th International Marketing Conference AEMARK, held in Madrid, and is sponsored by ESIC y AEMARK. A single prize will be awarded. Exceptionally, a second prize may be awarded to distinguish another outstanding thesis in the selection process.
2. The author of the awarded doctoral thesis will receive a plaque and a supporting diploma, as well as €3,000 in prize money. This call aims to encourage the attendance and participation of Latin American researchers in the International Marketing Conference AEMARK (Spanish Association of Academic and Professional Marketing). With this purpose in mind, AEMARK offers the possibility of obtaining financial assistance to Latin American researchers who present the best papers or works in progress of this origin. The authors must send their papers or work in progress to be evaluated within the period established by the organizers of the 34th International Marketing Conference AEMARK to be held in September in Madrid.
2. Authors who come from any Latin American country and are currently developing their research activity there may be eligible for the grant. The author who applies for the grant must prove his/her origin by means of a valid passport from a Latin American country. The application for these grants implies the acceptance of these Bases.
3. To qualify for the grant, it is enough that one of the researchers of the paper or work in progress meets the requirements indicated in Point 2, regardless of the origin of the co-authors of the research.
4. Up to a maximum of three grants may be awarded (maximum one per person and paper). The aid is intended to finance the travel expenses of the researcher from Latin America to Spain, who must necessarily attend the conference and be registered in it. Each travel stipend will amount to a maximum of €500.
5. Authors who wish to obtain this grant must present a paper or work in progress at the 34th International Marketing Conference AEMARK to be held in Madrid. The application for the grant will be made once the evaluation process is finished, once the paper or work in progress has been accepted for presentation to the Conference. 1. To encourage international research collaborations, AEMARK and L’Association Française du Marketing(Afm) have decided to fund research grants to help their members present joint investigations in the annual conference organized by each partner association.
2. These research grants aim to support research collaborations between at least one AEMARK member and one Afm member. The collaborators will present a communication at AEMARK’s and/or Afm’s Annual Conference. The presentations are aimed at providing constructive feedback from a diverse and experienced audience helpful in better positioning the research for maximum impact. As the final objective is to encourage joint publications in internationally ranked marketing journals, any topic that is appropriate for potential publication in such journals is eligible.
3. AEMARK will fund three research grants of €500 (a maximum of one per person and paper) to help Afm members attend AEMARK’s Annual Conference and present a communication resulting from their AEMARK-Afm joint investigation. Likewise, Afm will fund three research grants of €500 (a maximum of one per person and paper) to help AEMARK members attend Afm’s Annual Conference and present a communication resulting from their AEMARK-Afm joint investigation. The grants are intended to fund the expenses of the researcher’s trip to the Annual Conference venue, who will have to register and attend the conference.
4. The call is directed towards any member of AEMARK and Afm and is open to junior as well as senior researchers. Researchers who wish to obtain this grant must submit their papers or works in progress for the Conference before the deadline established by the Conference Organizing Committee. The grant application will be made once the evaluation process has been completed and the paper or work in progress has been accepted. If there are more than three applications per conference, a joint Scientific Committee consisting of seven members, four from the association organizing the conference and three from the partner association, will review all submissions. The AEMARK Recognition for Excellence in Marketing is created to distinguish those Spanish companies (or that develop their activity mainly in Spain) that, as a result of the application of effective marketing strategies, have excelled in their improvement in key indicators of growth and competitiveness, for being innovation leaders, or for the social impact of their marketing actions.
The bases of this Recognition are the following:

In recognition of the important role of anonymous reviews and the significant added value generated throughout this process, AEMARK (Asociación Española de Marketing Académico y Profesional), announces the Best Reviewer Award of the Spanish Journal of Marketing-ESIC (SJM-ESIC). AEMARK and SJM-ESIC particularly welcome constructive reviews that enable authors to identify the main weaknesses of their papers and offer guidance on how to overcome these limitations to finally achieve the publication of a relevant contribution.
2. A distinction will be given for each of the three issues published in 2022.
3. The award-winning reviewers will receive public recognition, a diploma, and a remuneration of €500 granted by AEMARK.
4. Each award will be chosen for the revisions made to all the papers whose final decision (positive or negative) has been taken in the period corresponding to the acceptance of the papers finally published in each issue.
