12TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GLOBAL RETAIL BRAND MANAGEMENT (June 9-11, 2025. Dallas, Texas, USA)

3.4. Breaking News Logo NBPL

This conference aims to inspire, encourage, and exchange research on retail brand management – brand management that explicitly incorporates the retailer in marketing goods and services. Our main focus is on three broad research topics:

  • Category Management: How do retailers determine which brands to carry in the category, and how to manage those brands?
  • NB-PL Marketing: How do national brand (NB) manufacturers compete with retailer's private labels (PLs), and how do retailers market NBs and PLs?
  • Online Retailing: How do brand marketers and retailers manage their brands in the online retail space?

In addition to these three focal areas, we encourage analytical, behavioral, conceptual, and empirical research on all topics pertaining to retail brand management. We particularly welcome futuristic and forward-looking research in the global arena.

All submissions for the conference must be in Word or PDF (1000 - 3000 words in length) and must be submitted through the Springer submission platform EquinOCS Springer on or before Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The submission should indicate how it contributes to brand or category management at the retail level and provide as many details about the research as possible in 3000 words or less.

In addition to the Springer Conference Proceedings, we hope to publish selected submissions from the conference as a special issue (or section) on global retailing in the Journal of Global Marketing. More details will be provided shortly after the conference.

Further details are published in the conference website.
