COLLOQUIUM ON EUROPEAN RESEARCH IN RETAILING

Jönköping, Sweden, JUNE 26 – 27, 2025

The purpose of the Colloquium is to bring together scientific researchers in Europe and beyond to share retail insights, both managerial and scientific.

The 9th CERR conference will be held at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University, Sweden, on 26th and 27th of June 2025.

Paper submission

Authors may submit a paper in electronic form in pdf in one of two ways: 

• An extended abstract no longer than 2000 words, 

• A full paper (<6000 words, included in proceedings only with authors’ authorization)

Selected full papers presented at the CERR will be considered for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management.

Special doctoral paper session 

A doctoral paper session will take place on the 25th of June 2025, accepting up to 6 papers. A panel of expert academics will review the accepted papers and provide written and verbal discussions. The session’s aim is to help doctoral students improve their skills in writing high-value papers. The paper that demonstrates the greatest potential for originality, and theoretical and practical implications will be awarded the Best Doctoral Paper.

Notification of acceptance for presentation: Apr 3rd, 2025 

Submission of revised abstracts and full papers: April 24th, 2025 

Acceptance of revised abstracts and full papers: May 25th, 2025

Deadline for Book of Abstracts, registration and payment of fees: June 15th, 2025
